Learn and practice Problems on Image Series with easy explaination and shortcut tricks. All questions and answers on Image Series covered for various Competitive Exams.
This type of reasoning problems are based on the series of images, i.e. a question has five figures in a sequence; marked A, B, C, D and E. These figures are called problem figures which depict a change step by step. The problem figures are followed by five answer figures; marked 1,2,3,4 and 5. You have to choose one figure out of five answer figures which will continue the series established by the problem figures.
Solve Problems:
1) Which answer figure will continue the same series as established by the problem figures?
In problem figure A, the arcs are towards arrow then in the next step arcs are pointed away from the arrow and so on.
Also, in the first two problem figures the arrows are pointing upward, and in the next two problem figures, the arrows are pointing downward and so on.
And, in the lower part of the problem figures, the two signs are changing their positions alternately.
Now, the answer figure 2 fulfills all the above conditions, so it will continue the series.
2) Which answer figure will continue the same series as established by the problem figures?
In the upper part of the problem figures in each step, an arc is added to the previous arc so that it looks like the alphabet S. And, in the lower part of the problem figures, the vertical line is moving one step ahead in each step. So, the answer figure 1 will continue the series.

3) Which answer figure will continue the same series as established by the problem figures?
First, the signs in pairs (x, =) and (∆, O) interchange their positions and then both the pairs interchange their positions. So, the answer figure 1 will continue the series.

4) Which answer figure will continue the same series as established by the problem figures?
The shaded portion moves one step ahead clockwise. Also, an extra portion gets shaded after one step. So, the answer figure 3 will continue the series.
6) Which answer figure will continue the same series as established by the problem figures?
In each step, the last sign becomes the first sign in the clockwise direction, and a new sign appears in front of it. So, the answer figure 4 will continue the series.
7) Which answer figure will continue the same series as established by the problem figures?
In figure B, the symbols interchange positions horizontally and in figure C, the symbols interchange positions vertically, then in figure D, symbols interchange positions both horizontally and vertically and so on. So, the answer figure 5 will continue the series.
